This position requires 50-70% travel.
What Will You Do in This Role?
As the Corporate Director of Life Enrichment, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Activity Department. Duties will include creating an engaging resident program across multiple levels of care, sourcing and implementing new resident programming innovations, coordination and assistance with training of new community life enrichment directors, maintaining company resident satisfaction process, and providing meaningful analysis and training on customer service trends.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Accreditation as a Certified Activities Director preferred
- Must have a minimum of one year of prior experience in a Regional Activities Director, or related, role
- Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area. Should be licensed or registered either nationally or by the State in which practicing
- Minimum of one year of experience as an Activities Director in a senior living setting
- Two years of experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years, one of which must be full-time in a resident activities program in a health care setting
- Prior leadership or management experience required
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
