What Will You Do in This Role?
As a Revenue Systems Compliance Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory, operational, and billing compliance across Skilled Nursing and Senior Living communities, with a specialized focus on auditing SNF resident trust accounts, Medicaid audits, and strong PCC back-end (EMC-level) configuration.This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial and billing processes by conducting trust audits in PCC and RFMS, coordinating data collection for Treasury cost report submissions, and ensuring facilities are fully prepared for Medicaid/state audits. The position requires advanced technical expertise in PointClickCare system setup and a strong ability to interpret and enforce compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- PCC EMC-Level Oversight
- Act as the subject matter expert for EMC-level PointClickCare configuration, including billing rules, rate tables, payer setup, and background workflows.
- Audit system setup to ensure billing compliance and resolve issues that impact claim submission or reimbursement.
- SNF Trust & RFMS Auditing
- Perform routine and targeted audits of resident trust accounts in PCC and RFMS.
- Identify discrepancies, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide oversight and guidance to facility teams to maintain accurate trust management.
- Medicaid Audits & Cost Report Support
- Lead facility preparation for Medicaid and state audit requests, ensuring timely response and documentation.
- Collect, validate, and submit required revenue and expense data to the Treasury team in support of cost report filings.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Credentialing & Enrollment Compliance
- Oversee and monitor provider enrollment processes (PECOS, IMPACT, clearinghouse setup) to ensure timely completion and alignment with payer requirements.
- Troubleshoot payer setup or enrollment issues impacting billing or claim adjudication.
- Compliance Training & Support
- Educate revenue cycle staff and facility leaders on PCC compliance, trust requirements, and audit processes.
- Deliver updates and training on regulatory changes, system enhancements, and compliance findings.
Qualifications:
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
- REQUIRED: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SNF revenue cycle compliance or auditing, with strong expertise in PCC EMC-level setup.
- Advanced knowledge of PointClickCare (PCC), trust fund accounting, and RFMS.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Medicaid audits and providing cost report data collections for Treasury or corporate finance teams.
- Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid billing compliance and clearinghouse processes.
- Exceptional auditing, reconciliation, and documentation skills with a high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple departments and communicate compliance findings clearly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
