What Will You Do in This Role?
As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, as well as overseeing the audit and cost report process. This position will continuously seek to identify and implement process improvements.
- Responsible for organization and planning for the audit and cost report process for healthcare accounting
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the landlord accounting function, and treasury function for owned assets and managed clients
- Assisting in process improvement initiatives to gain efficiencies to reduce close timeline and improve internal controls.
- Supervise two accounting team members
- Support and assist the Director of Treasury and Financial Compliance with various ad hoc projects as requested
- Assists in onboarding new managed clients and receivership assets
Do You Have What It Takes?
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Minimum of five or more years of experience in Accounting or Finance, with at least two years of experience managing staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, master’s degree preferred
- Public Accounting experience, preferably in audit
- Must possess a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be able to work well with others in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks required
- Must have working knowledge of GAAP
- Good analytical judgement and problem-solving skills while demonstrating high ethical standards required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
